Senior Project Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Project Geotechnical Engineer to become part of a highly motivated team focused on delivering quality geotechnical engineering services across a variety of infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and development projects.
This is a full-time hybrid position offering opportunities for professional growth, technical leadership, and direct client engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced geotechnical engineering and design support, including shallow and deep foundation systems, retaining structures, slope stability evaluations, and pavement design.
- Perform specialized analyses related to settlement, ground improvement, temporary excavation support systems, subsidence investigations, and geologic hazard assessments.
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and design recommendations for earth retention systems, grouting applications, deep foundation systems, and reinforced soil structures.
- Conduct geotechnical modeling and analysis to support engineering evaluations and project recommendations.
- Manage multiple geotechnical projects, including planning, coordinating, and overseeing subsurface investigation programs.
- Perform field observations and construction monitoring activities, including subsurface exploration logging and inspection of foundation and retaining structure construction.
- Evaluate site conditions, construction documents, specifications, and engineering plans to ensure project requirements are met.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineering and field staff.
- Prepare project correspondence, proposals, budgets, schedules, reports, and final deliverables.
- Support business development efforts through client relationship management, networking, and promotion of engineering services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
