Position Overview
We are actively seeking a Principal Geotechnical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will manage a talented group of eight engineers, guiding them in their professional development while fostering strong relationships with our clients. Your expertise will be crucial in driving our geotechnical division towards achieving strategic goals and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
• Primary Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding all geotechnical matters, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
• Oversight of Investigations: Lead geotechnical investigations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations while maintaining the highest quality of work.
• Team Management and Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to your team, promoting professional growth and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Project Coordination: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client expectations.
• Strategic Development: Contribute to the development and execution of strategic goals for the geotechnical division, driving innovation and efficiency.
• Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver clear, impactful technical presentations to clients and stakeholders, showcasing project findings and recommendations.
• Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure all work meets regulatory compliance and industry standards.

Qualifications
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Professional Experience: At least 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with a proven track record in managing teams and projects.
• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in Kentucky is required.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and tools, enabling effective project execution and analysis.
• Communication and Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
