Branch Manager – Geotechnical & Construction Materials

Job Overview:

Our client is looking for a Branch Manager to lead their Las Vegas branch, specializing in geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing (CMT). The role involves managing high-profile projects in infrastructure, ensuring operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth project execution, testing, and inspections.
    • Lead, train, and manage engineers, technicians, and project managers.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations (ASTM, AASHTO).
  • Project Oversight:
    • Manage geotechnical and CMT projects, meeting timelines and budgets.
    • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
    • Resolve project issues, conduct risk assessments, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Client Relations & Business Development:
    • Build and maintain relationships with contractors and public agencies.
    • Identify business opportunities and secure new projects.
    • Serve as the primary contact for key clients and ensure project satisfaction.
  • Financial & Strategic Planning:
    • Manage branch budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
    • Monitor performance metrics and ensure profitability.
    • Implement strategies to improve efficiency and project margins.
  • Technical & Quality Control:
    • Ensure accurate testing, analysis, and reporting.
    • Review project reports to meet client and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain lab certifications and enforce quality control.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of management experience in geotechnical or CMT services.
  • Multi-certified ICC 
  • Knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, and local codes.
  • Experience managing large projects and leading teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with soil analysis, foundation recommendations, and testing procedures.
  • Familiarity with NV DOT projects and public-sector work.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and reporting systems.
