A leading technical services organization is seeking a high-impact Regional Manager to lead a multi-location regional platform delivering geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services. This executive will be responsible for driving profitable growth, strengthening operational performance, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across the region.

Our client is looking for someone with strong operations and leadership experience to drive strategic growth and oversee the operations of a $25M dollar multi-office group and a team of 100+ employees. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, people-first leader with strong operational discipline, commercial instincts, and a proven ability to scale performance across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Leadership & P&L Ownership

  • Own full regional P&L responsibility, including budget development, forecasting, and operating plan execution
  • Drive performance across key metrics such as revenue growth, margin improvement, utilization, backlog, and delivery consistency
  • Establish and execute regional strategy aligned with broader organizational priorities

Growth & Market Expansion

  • Lead strategic growth initiatives across priority markets, clients, and service offerings
  • Partner with commercial leadership to strengthen pipeline, improve win rates, and expand key accounts
  • Maintain executive-level relationships with clients, contractors, and other industry stakeholders

Operational Excellence

  • Standardize operating rhythms and performance expectations across multiple locations
  • Strengthen staffing models, resource planning, and workflow optimization to improve execution efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery, field operations, and laboratory performance (as applicable)

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Build, develop, and retain a high-performing regional leadership team
  • Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational discipline
  • Support recruiting strategy, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives

Safety, Quality & Risk

  • Champion a safety-first culture and ensure adherence to compliance and quality standards
  • Maintain effective governance across operational risk, field execution, and client deliverables

Candidate Profile

  • Proven executive leadership experience with multi-site operational oversight and P&L responsibility
  • Strong operational and financial acumen with experience driving profitability and scalable growth
  • Track record of building high-performing teams and leading through influence across locations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Background

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Construction Management preferred
  • Professional licensure (PE/PG) is a plus, but not required
