At their Denver office, we are in search of a Senior Engineer for Dam Projects. The role entails expertise and hands-on involvement in areas like hydrology, hydraulics, geotechnical engineering, or structural engineering. Your contribution will bolster growing local operations. Their Denver office concentrates on dam evaluations, design projects, and pioneering risk-informed decision-making practices.

As well as:

  •  Providing technical oversight and management for dam engineering projects.
  • Crafting and reviewing design calculations, engineering documentation, and specifications.
  • Developing engineering proposals and qualification statements.
  • Collaborating seamlessly with other branches to optimize resource utilization.

In addition, you will engage in project management responsibilities:

  • Nurturing client relationships.
  • Orchestrating project management facets such as planning, resource allocation, budget management, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Guiding and mentoring junior engineers.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in hydrological/hydraulic analyses, geotechnical and/or structural engineering, with a distinct focus on dam design.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field from an accredited program. (Masters preferred)
  • Colorado Professional Engineer or eligibility for reciprocity.
  • Competency in widely-used computer-aided analysis and modeling tools applicable to dam engineering.
  • Familiarity with creating and reviewing construction blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of state and federal guidelines, regulations, and methodologies for dam safety.
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
  • The ability to collaborate efficiently within teams or work autonomously.
