The Organization

Their instrumentation products furnish comprehensive solutions for remote monitoring of construction site variables such as vibration, noise, dust, and geotechnical factors.

We are presently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to bolster their sales team, operating remotely within the USA.

 

The Role

As a Sales Engineer, you will oversee the US East Coast market, encompassing New York state and surrounding areas.

This role is a blend of tactical execution and strategic foresight, centering on cultivating leads and fostering client relations. Key responsibilities include:

– Steering the entire sales lifecycle, from initial outreach and lead qualification to product demonstrations, deal closure, and key account management.

– Key tasks entail in person and digital networking, coordinating sales meetings, participating in industry conferences, domestic travel, CRM upkeep, generating quotes, delivering product training and support, following up with leads and clients and relaying local market requirements to the product development team.

– You will be an integral part of their sales team, collaborating extensively to meet ambitious targets and pioneering the adoption of workflow optimization tools.

– Regular travel is imperative for client engagements and coordination with the rest of the team.

 

Qualifications:

– A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent qualification.

– A minimum of 3 years of professional experience (ideally exceeding 5 years).

– Desirable technical expertise in vibration, sound, geotechnical measurements, or cognate fields.

– A proven track record of surpassing sales objectives.

– A robust technical grounding and acumen.

– Flourishing in this role necessitates entrepreneurial zeal, a penchant for continual technical enrichment, and an engaging persona. Integrity and credibility are paramount for nurturing enduring business alliances. Demonstrated poise and drive in confronting business challenges, coupled with adept problem-solving and customer-centricity, are indispensable. Additionally, an affinity for collaborative endeavors and a resolute commitment to achieving stellar outcomes are essential attributes.
