Position Title: Tunneling Engineer

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Required)

Master’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical or Structural Engineering (preferred)

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Familiarity with finite element analysis using commercial software packages such as RISA 3D, FLAC, MIDAS, and Plaxis.

Strong understanding of geotechnical and structural engineering principles.

Excellent analytical and technical skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

Apply engineering principles to project assignments using prescribed techniques and procedures.

Conduct civil, geotechnical, and structural engineering calculations and analyses using manual and computer-based tools.

Assist in the preparation of technical reports by writing sections, creating tables, figures, and drawings, in collaboration with senior team members.

Perform additional engineering tasks as assigned.

Develop designs and drawings using AutoCAD.

Conduct field assignments, including construction monitoring services under senior supervision. Tasks include observing and documenting construction activities, collecting material samples, coordinating with testing laboratories, conducting field tests as needed, and observing and testing other construction activities.
